More than 50 volunteers braved a cold Saturday morning to assist in the Chesham Bois Parish Spring Clean-up, which this year was held in conjunction with the national Clean For The Queen campaign.
Community spirited residents picked litter across Chesham Bois and were rewarded with refreshments and treats.
Councillor John Bailey said, “There was a great turnout. A frosty start and light smattering of snow did not deter the many volunteers or all ages, who collected some 24 bags of litter in a fantastic effort to keep our common and surrounding areas so special. Very many thanks to everyone who came along.”
